During the excursion we will visit:
Bolshoe Goloustnoe village: founded in the 17th century. Its history is connected with the water trade route between Russia and China;
Baikal: the deepest lake in the world;
Dry Lake (in summer time): one of the legendary places in the Irkutsk region, the main feature of which is that the lake periodically dries up, and then mysteriously fills up
10:00 - 12:00 Transfer Irkutsk - Bolshoe Goloustnoe (distance 120 km, about 2 hours on the road)
12:00 Arrival in Bolshoe Goloustnoe
Winter time
12:00 - 14:00 walk on the Baikal ice, during which you can take beautiful photos against the backdrop of the famous bubbles, go skating, take a ride on the hovercraft "Khivus" (optional)
Summer time
12:00 - 14:00 walk along the large Baikal trail to Dry Lake, the guide will tell local legends, tell about the unique properties of this reservoir
14:00 - 15:00 Lunch at a local cafe. During lunch you will taste traditional Buryat buuzas and try herbal tea collected in the Goloustnaya River valley;
15:00 - 16:30 Walk to the observation deck, which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Baikal and Bolshoe Goloustnoe. If the weather is good, you can see the eastern shore.
16:30 - 18:30 Transfer Bolshoe Goloustnoe - Irkutsk
