Ogoy is a mystical and mysterious place on Lake Baikal, famous for the Stupa of Enlightenment, sacred to Buddhists. The stupa on Ogoy Island on Baikal was the first to collect in one place an extensive library of original Buddhist texts (with a total weight of about 750 kg), which were specially sent from different countries. Ogoy contains Buddhist texts in Tibetan and Sanskrit previously unknown to Western science
